These pictures were taken on new years eve when I was messing around in the garden. The first two are slightly fuzzy as it was so bloody cold my hands were shaking. None of the pictures have been altered or tampered with except to crop/zoom. The first pictures appear to be a pair of eyes with no body, the fence is clearly seen through the entity! The second seem to show an angel/ghost please note it was not my breath, steam ect. Have a look and tell me what you think!

Hopefully I'll be able to get back into routine pretty quickly and get you up to date with whats been happening. Briefly, I've done a lot of reading and meditating, a lot of work with my Guardian Angel and Spirit Guides and also have tickets to be in the next Most Haunted Live in Liverpool audiance on 12th January I also have some very interesting pictures to put on!

Do you believe in angels? Have you ever seen or felt an angel? Has your guardian angel ever saved your live? Before you dismiss such questions think long and hard. Have you ever had a near miss in your car? Almost stepped out in front of a bus or even lost your keys which made you run late and avoid a collision on the motorway? We all have a guardian angel, they keep us safe and do what they can. But heres a tip, your angel can help you so much more if you only ask and believe in them. Talk to your angel, tell them your worries and ask for their help. The more you talk to your angel the stronger they will become and the more they will be able to affect your life in a postitive manner. Allow yourself to feel your angel, feel their vibrations when they are near. But most of all allow yourself to believe.

 Comments

Ghost feet!!!

Gosh I had a bit of a shock yesterday, I was driving through a notoriusly haunted area and saw a car waiting to pull out of a side road, underneath the car were a pair of feet - sort of in the middle not how they would be if someone was stood on the kirb, as I drove past I looked up the road and there was no one there! Spooky.

 Comments

Psychic Fair

Last night (12/12/08) I went to a psychic fair at a local spiritualist church. Well the experience was definately different. We arrived at 7.30 and after a bit of trepidation we left the car and went in - to say the area was rough is an understatement. So in we go to be greeted by a smoking guy in a Santa hat (we later learnt he was the head of the church) I booked in for a tarot reading and an aura photograph which cost £20 for the two.

The Tarot reading.

Oh dear me, what a load of rubbish. I would say about 90% of what she said was complete and utter trash. Below are a few examples:

Her: Congratulations this card means a baby on the way!
Me: U’mm I can’t actually have children
Her: Oh well maybe its adoption or a friend or family member
Me: Nope!

Her: You have connections with either Kent or Cornwall (I wonder if she was picking up on my accent?)
Me: No, not at all
Her: Are you sure
Me: The only people I know down there are in Brighton
Her: That’s it then Brighton’s near Kent

Her: You never got over your past love and scare off new lovers by being too full on
Me: I’ve never been in love and have been single for the past few years and am most defiantly not a slut!

Her: Your very involved in music
Me: No, can’t even play a recorder
Her: But I see you playing the drums
Me: Nope not going to happen

There were plenty more such as a family member will die and I will inherit lots of money but then spend it all!

The Aura Photo.

This is something I’ve wanted to try for a while but after the Tarot disaster I was a little dubious. To start I sat facing a laptop with a built in camera and then placed my left hand on a reader thing! Immediately my aura appeared on the screen around an image of my head. It was orangey in colour and changed to different shades. Here’s where it gets a little spooky: The gentleman doing the picture looked at me and said :

Him: You’re here with someone.
Me: My mum’s sat over there.
Him: No dear that’s not what I meant.
Me: Oh, you mean a spirit?
Him: Yes, its quite unusual and very nice to see.

He then showed me on the screen a white outline behind me on my left, this was my spirit guide, also on my right was a black smudge, my guardian angel.

Next we looked at my chakras, again a little weird as he picked up on a medical problem I have which there is no way he could have known. He also said my third eye was very open and asked if I ‘saw things’. Apparently my yin and yang is perfectly balanced and I am emotionally tired and in need of a break!

All in all it was a fun evening, more for entertainment than spiritual growth and I definately don’t think I will be going there again.

 Comments

Spirit Guides

Last night I did a wonderful guided meditation (by David Wells) to meet my Spirit guide. I've done it several times before with varying results but last night I placed a crytsal by my side and it seemed to really help focus me as it was a lot clearer than ever before. I still cannot make out my guides face, but I got to sit and speak with her for a while which left me feeling very peaceful.

In the past three years we have been through 2 Fridges, cooker, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, 3 kettles, 2 phones, 2 computers, tv, 2 sky boxes, ipod, several mobile phones and countless lightbulbs and batteries. The delivery guy for Comet knows us quite well now and always gives the dogs a tickle Anyway the reason i'm telling you this is that my laptop has now fallen to the curse, I have a new one on order but until it arrives I may not be able to post.

On a different note I got a very good bargin yesterday. I went to a local crystal/candle/incense shop (you know the type) and they had salt rock t-light holders for £3 each, i've seen the same ones on the internet for £12. So I grabbed two and they look lovely on the fireplace.

This picture was taken in the same room my earring dissapeared from. Take a close look at the gentlemans groin area

But just try and find 15 minutes in your ordinary day to sit and do nothing. Its a lot harder than you think after all the kitchen floor needs cleaning, the dog needs a bath, I must pay those bills, order the turkey ect. Every time you sit still something that 'needs' to be done pops into your head. However, its important to have that little bit of me time every day! Even if you are not 'in to' meditation and visualization' its amazing how much better you will feel after just doing and thinking of nothing for those few short minutes. So today find a quiet time for yourself, don't worry about everyone else then can manage without you for 15 minutes. I find the best time is usually after 8pm the dogs are fed and settled, the humans are fed and settled. Your brain is starting to wind down but not so much that you fall asleep. So find a quiet room, light a candle (safely!) and relax. Make it part of your daily routine and see how much calmer you become.

 Comments

Derek Acorah

My mum just bought tickets for us to go and see Derek Acorah next year O dear I think I'll have to try very hard not to laugh and have images of Derek screaming "Mary loves Dick" (check out you tube if you don't know what I mean) He may well be genuine, but the fact he was caught cheating and lying doesnt sit well with me, he's a little OTT. Never mind i'm sure it will be a good laugh, and if someone I know does 'come through' i'll just keep very quiet

 Comments

What not to do

I did something a bit naughty last night, I meditated before going to bed and promptly fell asleep which of course meant that I didnt ground myself, which in turn means that this morning I feel all fuzzy and not 'quite awake'. Hopefully sereval cups of coffee and a huge bowl of sugar puffs should resolve the matter!

On a different note I was yesterday working on my aura and was quite suprised to actually be able to feel the magnectic force/pull all over for the first time (I used to only feel it on my hands.) Try it yourself - Put your hands into prayer postition then gently move them apart about 1 - 2 inches then gently pulse them back and forwards, do you feel an almost magnet attraction then repulsion as you get too close. It can help if you close your eyes.

I also run my own business

When I was a child I had imaginary friends, I didn’t just have humans though I also had a dog called Scampy and her litter of puppies. My parents just thought I had an overactive imagination.

When I was 6 my Great Grandmother died after the funeral we stayed with my Great Granddad for a few days and like any young child I got into mischief, my punishment was to sit at the top of the stairs for 10 minutes, within seconds of being left alone my Great Grandmother sat down next to me, you’ve never seen a child run down stairs quite as fast as I did, absolulty terrified. Funnily enough my imaginary friends disappeared that day. I believe that the sheer terror I felt somehow blocked something inside me. Until the day my Great Granddad moved out of that house I never once walked up those stairs alone.

As I got older I become accustomed to the feeling of never quite being alone, always seeing something out of the corner of my eye. When we visited Stately homes (what child doesn’t love National Trust properties!) I would always get ‘feelings’ that often had the attendants amazed, you don’t often get kids telling you they don’t like the feeling of a room. The older I got the more interested I became until the age of 14 when I started to get a feeling that something was missing, it felt like a part of me wasn’t quite whole and I obsessively started to research into the paranormal and also Wicca and Paganism. I started meditating and using visualization. Finally life started to make sense. I started using a pendulum and began reading tarot with surprisingly accurate results. Then life turned upside-down within the space of one week both my grandfathers died, the first as a result of pneumonia, on the day of his funeral my other granddad had a severe stroke, he died 3 days later. Suddenly nothing made sense, how could my family be torn apart like this? Was is some kind of sick cosmic joke? Was it somehow my fault for dabbling in the paranormal? It was all too much for me and there started the next two years of my life of depression, alcohol abuse and self harm. All my books, everything to do with my believes were thrown into a box. Only thanks to my amazing family did I manage to get through this time.

Skip forward to 2004, I had started meditating again and during one of these I saw my grandfather, he told me not to worry or to be sad anymore, he was ok and was waiting for my grandma ( I think he is going to have a long wait as at 76 she is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon!) shortly afterward my cat was put down and that night I clearly felt her climb onto the bed, pad around (as cats do) before settling down to sleep at me feet.

Forward again to 2005 and we moved house into a largish 100 year old property, about a month after moving in I was awoken to the sound of a woman singing and could hear her walking around my bed, I then sensed a malevolent male force who tried to pull me out of bed and rip my duvet off, the female presence somehow sent him away and continued singing until I fell asleep (I now sleep with my Labrador Retriever on the bed!) Nothing much more happened in the main house other than a ghostly cat who we all regularly see an the landing, the annexe however, where I run my business from, was another story. Doors open and close, we hear tapping, mumbled talking and often smell pipe smoke.
During this time my feeling of something missing surfaced again along with the need to understand what was going on, so out came the books, and this time a lot slower and more cautiously than before I started my research into the paranormal.

Early 2007 I was sat at home, a bit bored flicking channels on the television and came across Most Haunted. A show I didn’t like as I felt the medium, Derek, was at worst a fake and at best expanding on the truth. But during this episode it wasn’t Derek it was another Medium called David Wells I sat riveted through the whole show. There was something about him that just made sense, for the next few months I watched every show with David in it, and I bought his books, greedily gobbling up his words but always wanting more. But then I started to get annoyed, not with David but with the Most Haunted team, they were gradually ignoring his advice and becoming very provoking and rude to the spirits, the final straw was during a most haunted live when they hung a pentagram upside-down, That was the last show David did with them.

Continue into 2008 and I was again awoken by a voice in my ear “I’ll do to you what I did to the others, I’ll bury you” Interestingly enough in our back garden there are 5 slightly slumped areas that the grass always grows differently on. Family and friends often joke that they are just the right size for graves. Enough was enough, if I was hearing voices it was one of two things, the first I was going mad, the second our house was haunted. I chose the second option as I figured mad people don’t know they are mad. So I again threw myself into research buying every book on the paranormal, visiting websites looking into different Religions constantly looking for answers. Scared that the more I opened myself to these things, the stronger they would become. Would I be able to control it? I don’t have the answer to that question yet. I then had a tarot reading which was amazingly accurate and part of it told me to embrace who I was becoming.

I continued to read and David Wells brought out a new book and CD which I immediately bought. Then my mum asked what I wanted for Christmas. She knew my beliefs and is also interested in the paranormal so when I asked for a ghost hunt she agreed and decided to come along. You can read that bit in “The Christmas supper section”

I finally met David on Friday and he taught me a lot, a few tips and tricks for visualization. How to not be afraid to ask and questions with what you see, and most importantly not to be afraid. I can quite honestly say its like a switch has been flicked in my mind. So where does that leave me now? To be honest I have even more questions than before. I have booked a course with David on Qabalah, and have another ghost hunt lined up for January. This time at Warwick castle.

I want this blog to be a record of what’s going on with me, if you don’t believe or in fact think I’m as mad as a hatter, then please leave this isn’t the place for you. However if you do believe then please share your stories and maybe we can answer some questions together.

We unpacked and decided to take a recky to Middleton Hall to plan the route and see what we were letting ourselves in for. Middleton Hall is reached down a narrow tree lined lane and even in daylight looked suitably spooky.

We returned to the Travel Inn and drank copious amounts of coffee in order to keep alert (this also had the affect of making me as hyper as tigger on speed!) at 6.15 we left for the hall with a mixture of excitement and fear. In the dark Middleton Hall is even more eerie and I began to wonder what I’d let myself in for. We joined the other guests in the grand hall, there were 6 tables each with 8 places. We sat at the corner table by the staircase, immediately we felt icy cold drafts coming down the stairs and our gaze was repeatedly drawn to the top corridor. (We later learned the lady of the house had died after falling down these stairs and breaking her neck). A few pictures revealed several orbs. Dinner was served at 7.15 - a yummy roast and apple pie followed by an introduction by member of fright nights.

Next we proceeded on a lit tour around the hall, which included the history and a few ghost tales. This is were the first ‘odd’ thing happened. I had been wearing a rather heavy pair of earrings, the type you can feel dangling and certainly know you have them in, suddenly the left one was gone. I had a search around but didn’t find it. The tour continued followed by a 5 minute break and then David Wells arrived at 9.00.

David began with a talk about his past, a little about Qabala and some jokes about astrology, which had me in fits of laughter as his description of Libra fit me exactly, as did his descriptions of my parents star signs (Virgo and Taurus). He then talked about Chakras and protection and concluded with a visualization about lemons (if you have David’s CD you know the one). We were then split into 2 groups the first doing ‘glass work’ whilst the second went on vigils with David and the two Fright Night mediums. We were in the second group. Other than on television I have never seen glass work, which we were told was NOT a oouji board but to me letters placed round a table and a glass moved by spirits looked pretty similar. Anyway my personal believes left me to observe and not participate, the glass did move but did not make sense, apparently the spirits were ‘playing’ with us.

We then swapped with the other group and went upstairs to do the vigils with David. We gathered in the gallery and all stood around the room, we held hands and David led us through visualization to raise the energy (Imagining white balls of light whizzing round so fast it becomes a constant stream of white light moving clockwise through us all) he asked us if we saw anything, I had an image of a “winter wonderland tree” then a blackness passed in front of me just as David was saying to watch out for this as it means the spirits are moving towards/past you. All the time we were standing I had a sensation of someone touching my left cheek and ear). We then split into 3 groups ours stayed with David in the gallery.

David asked us if there were any parts of the room we didn’t like and then to go stand there. I was in the left corner which to me felt ominous and black, again I felt the sensation of being touched, I told David and he told me to ask the spirit to move to my other side, I did this and the spirit kindly obliged and started touching the right side of my face. I then felt something watching me from me from behind and stepped out of the way just as David was saying there was a spirit behind me! David then left us to visit the other groups so we decided to call out and got a few taps in response. We then joined hands and called out again, almost immediately I felt something brush past my left leg. I mentioned it to the group and shortly after a gentleman had the same sensation. I got the feeling we had been joined by a small child. At this moment David rejoined our group and asked me if the child was male or female. The second he asked me an image of the child appeared in my mind, almost as if I was looking at a photograph. The child was a small girl, aged maybe 4-5 wearing a pink satin dress and holding a teddy bear. She was excited we were there as she thought we had come to play. David asked me if I had a name, the name Elizabeth came to me but I don’t think this was the little girl, I think this was someone else. I then was spooked a little as David said the name Elizabeth had been picked up by some of the others in the other groups! David left us again and again I got the picture of the tree but this time I realised it was a painting I was seeing, I think it may have been given to someone as a gift. I also felt someone touching my hair. Throughout our whole time in the room I had the sensation of someone touching my face and left ear, I got the impression they were putting a finger to my lips like you would shush a child. Our group also smelt smoke very strongly in one corner of the room.

We then rejoined the main group back in the hall for a summery and were slightly surprised to find there had been a fire in the building and guests often remark on smelling smoke. The evening ended there at 11.45. David was kind enough to sign my books and pose for a picture with me.

We arrived pack at the Travel Inn just after 12pm and in the room with proper light my mum was shocked that I appeared to have a hand print on my left cheek and ear, it looked like I had been slapped! Next came the other surprise, as I undressed for bed I removed my big coat (that had been fastened all evening) then removed my scarf that had been tightly wrapped around my neck, I finally removed my shirt and was exceeding surprised to find my missing earring carefully dangling on the bow on my bra! I then spent the next hour trying to recreate it falling out and in my opinion there is no way my earring could have got through 3 layers and hook so carefully on the bow without me feeling it!

I took many pictures at Middleton Hall and several appear to contain orbs. A lot of people (previously including myself) believe orbs to just be dust or camera error, however I am a keen armature photographer and currently studying photography at evening college I own two digital cameras, one very expensive DSLR and one not quite to expensive 7mp compact, which I used. Over the past couple of years I have taken thousands of photographs with these cameras and never had any orbs appear on any of my pictures which has left me thinking if my camera has never put orbs on my pictures before, then why suddenly do it unless the orbs were in fact something else that the naked eye was unable to see.

My trip to Middleton hall has left me craving more. I have already booked another full night ghost hunt, this time at Warwick castle and have also booked to attend a workshop with David. On researching the hall I have learnt that Sir Francis Willoughby was married to Elizabeth Littleton, they had 12 children, only 5 survived, all daughters.
